2023 Performance Review Enhancements

It's Performance Review Time! Check out the enhancement for 2023 including a new 5-point rating scale!
If you are a supervisor, now is a great time to request Employee Self-Assessments so you can include it in the overall performance summary.
The performance discussions should be completed by June 16. See below for the 2023 Performance Review timeline.
What's new for 2023?
Based on input from focus groups conducted by Tufts Human Resources across schools, departments and central units, Tufts is implementing the following enhancements for 2023:
- A new 5-Point Performance Rating Scale to support differentiation in performance
- A new combined template for employee self-assessment and manager feedback that will help to streamline the process
- Updates to the Online Performance Review system:
- Additional attachment functionality in the performance review system
- New links to tools and templates in the online system
- Opening FY24 Goal Setting in June to enter goals ahead of the start of the next fiscal year

Performance Planning and Development Workshops for Supervisor
To learn more about the Performance Review process and completing year-end reviews, supervisors are encouraged to sign up to attend one of the following Performance Planning and Development Workshops. All are offered via Zoom.
