Adobe License Renewal: Expanded Options, Key Dates & Continued Access

Tufts is transitioning to a new Adobe licensing contract beginning September 28, 2025, bringing expanded options and continued access for faculty and staff who use Adobe products for academic, creative, and administrative work.

What’s Changing

• One Unified Console: We’re consolidating from two Adobe management consoles into one, simplifying access and support.
• Expanded Product Options: Faculty and staff can now choose from:
  
  • Creative Cloud (full suite of Adobe apps)
  • Acrobat Only
  • Adobe Express Premium (learn more about Adobe Express)
    (Note: Adobe Express is included with Creative Cloud as well)

Key Dates

• September 28, 2025 – New Adobe contract begins and Tufts transitions to a single management console.
• September 29–October 5, 2025 – New licenses and Adobe product options will be available through Tufts on the Hub.
• July 14, 2026 – The next annual license renewal date. Future contract cycles will follow a July 15–July 14 schedule.

License Renewal Process

The renewal process will follow the same steps as last year:

• A one-week window – September 29 - October 5 – is available for faculty and staff to place their renewal requests thru Tufts On the Hub.
• If you do not submit a request during that window, your license will be deprovisioned.
• Licenses can still be requested afterward and will be reassigned as needed.
