This policy applies to all staff, limited term staff, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, or any other members of the Tufts community who are paid directly by Tufts University’s payroll department, or who work under faculty or postdoctoral scholar handbooks, or who are otherwise covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Benefits eligible employees may take advantage of a number of benefits that the university offers. These benefits are regularly updated and do change from time to time. See benefits summaries for more information.
You can only enroll or change these benefits within 30 days of your new hire (or newly benefits eligible) date, within 31 days of a Qualifying Life Event, or during annual Open Enrollment. Your selections can be viewed and managed in eServe.
To change your benefits, log on to eServe, Tufts’ online portal for personalized payroll and benefits information. For your security, you must be enrolled in two-factor authentication to log onto eServe. Enrolling is simple and should take less than 15 minutes if you have all the required information. Be sure that you either "enroll" or "waive" and do not leave any benefit plan choices blank.
