Donating to the Community

Donating items is an effective way to reduce your waste and find a new home for the items you no longer use or want. In addition to donating items at collection stations during student Move Out, you can also donate home, school, or office supplies to the surrounding community.

If you have items you would like to donate through Tufts, you can contact:

• Community Relations (communityrelations@tufts.edu): Community Relations keeps a list of local partners who may interested in your donations.
• Shirley Mark, Director of Community Partnerships at Tisch College (shirley.mark@tufts.edu): Shirley has a mailing list of over 300 community partners to which she frequently sends out lists of donation items

You can also contact local schools, libraries, and non-profits to check if they would like any items you may have.
