Enhanced Security for Tableau: VPN Access Now Required

To ensure continued protection of university data and systems, access to Tableau is now restricted to users connected to the Tufts Virtual Private Network (VPN). This change aligns with security best practices and is consistent with how we safeguard other key services across the university. 

What You Need to Know: 

  • VPN Required: To access Tableau, you must first log in to the Tufts VPN. 

  • Consistent with Other Services: This update reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting institutional data by limiting access to trusted, secure connections. 

  • Support Available: If you need assistance with VPN setup or have questions about accessing the service, the TTS Service Desk is here to help.
