Facilities and Administration Overhead Rates
The following rates have been negotiated with the Department of Health and Human Services for Facilities and Administration (F&A). F&A rates are predetermined and cover the period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2025.

Health Sciences
Boston and Grafton campuses which include the following: Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Dental Medicine, School of Medicine, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy (excluding the Feinstein Famine Center).

To be in compliance with the University's capitalization policy and the rate agreement, it is important that all capital equipment on grant and contract applications and awards be budgeted at the $5,000 level.
