Fringe Benefits Rates

The following is a listing of Fringe Benefit Rates for Fiscal Year 2025, which runs from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Fringe Benefit rates are used in planning for departmental and research purposes. Rates are valid for the fiscal year and are updated in July. 

  • Unrestricted Rate 31.75%
  • Restricted Full Time 31.5%
  • Post-Doc Rate 19.2%
  • Mandated Rate 8.4%
  • Faculty Summer Supplement 12.9%

Please use the following provisional fringe rates when budgeting for grants after FY25:

  • Restricted Rate 29.4%
  • Post Doc rate 19.7%
  • Mandated rate 8.4%
  • Faculty summer supplement rate 15.8%
