Tufts provides a range of options if you need to take time away from your job to care for yourself or your family. We also offer other resources that may be helpful if you or a loved one needs extra support.
Tufts Policies and Benefits
Time Off and Leaves of Absence
Learn about your options for taking time off or a leave of absence to care for yourself or another family member. If you are a staff member and have questions about leaves of absence, complete the online request form, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact Tufts Support Services at 617-627-7000 (for staff). Please note that you are not required to discuss the details of medical or military leave with your supervisor; however you will need to make arrangements for work coverage, time keeping, and scheduling your return from approved leave with your department.
Tufts’ long-term disability plan can help cover your financial needs if you are unable to work for a period of time.
