A flexible work schedule can help you balance the needs of work, family, and other personal commitments. While an alternative work arrangement may not work for every position, Tufts welcomes proposals for such arrangements.
Some options may include:
- Working non-standard hours
- Job sharing
- Working part-time (either fewer hours a day or fewer days a week)
The alternative schedule must meet the needs of your department and be approved by your supervisor. If the needs of your department change or if the arrangement is not working out, your manager may reverse the alternative schedule at any time.
