Learning Spaces Upgrades 2020 - Share your feedback 10/4!
The Learning Spaces Working Group (LSWG) – which has been managing improvements to learning spaces on the Medford/Somerville campus since 2015 – invites you to join us for feedback sessions on the rooms that are recommended for upgrade this year.
As a faculty member (or respective department chair or administrator or other users of the space) who teaches / has taught in theses spaces over recent semesters, your input is critical to ensure we meet teaching and learning needs at Tufts.
Please join our design team, Jones Architecture, on October 4 between 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (details below) to share your thoughts on these teaching spaces.
- Fletcher | Mugar 123 (Computer Lab) | 10 a.m.
- Fletcher | Cabot 302 (Asean Auditorium) | 10:30 a.m.
- Tisch Library | Room 314 | 12:00 – 12:30
- Tisch Library | Room 316/310 | 12:30- 1:00 (using these previously upgraded rooms until room 304 is available)
- Tisch Library | Room 304 | 1:00 – 1:30 (or sooner if it becomes available)
- East Hall | 1:30-2:15 p.m.
This year, LSWG is recommending eight teaching spaces to receive some level of upgrade during the summer of 2020. Scope of work will vary by room, but typical upgrades have included lighting, furniture, window panels on entry doors, teaching technology, additional writing surfaces, window treatments, and painting. Please consider these things in when giving your feedback.
We look forward to seeing you and hearing your feedback on October 4. If you are unable to attend in person, please feel free to send you input about the spaces and your experiences to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will also be able to comment directly from the Learning Spaces website beginning the week of October 7, when the presentations from the October 4 outreach sessions will be posted.
