Mail and Package Services for Students

Mail Services provides mail and package delivery to students who live on the Medford and SMFA campuses.

Medford Campus Centralized Delivery 

Student mail and packages on the Medford Campus are sent to a centralized location and students are notified via their Tufts email when mail or packages are received. 

• The mail room at the Campus Store is the central mailroom for all student mail on the Medford campus  
• All Tufts students on the Medford campus should address their incoming mail and packages to: 
  • First and Last Name
  • MEDF-XXXXXXX (Unique Mail code listed in your SIS profile)
  • C/O Tufts Mail Services
  • 46 Professors Row
  • Medford, MA 02155
• You don’t need to come to the Mail Center to look for your mail or package—we will notify you via your Tufts email when it is ready for pick up!  
• When you do come to the Mail Center, tap or swipe your ID at a Kiosk. We will then meet you at the counter with your package or mail during regular business hours.
• SMFA Beacon Street Housing will use a different address for their mail.

If you experience any problems with your mail delivery, contact Mail Services. 

Package Delivery Guidelines 

• Please do not have food of any kind delivered via Mail Services. Food delivery services attempting to deliver will be redirected. Food delivery containers/packages left at Mail Services will be disposed of/recycled. 
• Medications that require refrigeration should not be shipped to the mailroom and other medications shipped may not be available immediately.
  • Please note the mailroom will be closed on holidays and that processing of deliveries may take up to 2 business days. Students will be emailed when packages are ready for pick up.
• Medications that need to be refrigerated or are of an urgent nature, please contact healthservices@tufts.edu to speak to one of the nurses for instructions.
• Avoid sending packages heavier than 70 lbs. 
• Do not send perishables at any time

Visiting the student mailroom

The new student mailroom is located in the lower level of the Campus Store at 46 Professors Row, Medford, MA 02155. The entrance is located on the upper plaza level, after entering the Campus Store, proceed to the back of the first floor to the stairs or elevator.

Please check in at the kiosk when you arrive, staff will gather your mail and/or packages then meet you at the counter.

SMFA Beacon Street Residents 

SMFA Mailroom is located at 230 The Fenway, in the basement.
