The University recognizes the importance of formal orientation processes for you as a new member of the Tufts’ community, to provide a uniform onboarding, to distribute appropriate electronic resources, materials, and workplace information. These sessions are held via Zoom invitation, as confirmed via electronic invitation. Faculty and faculty-related new hires receive separate orientation sessions as well as a welcome program, provided through their primary school or program and the Office of the Provost.
At the start of employment, you are expected to participate in Tufts’ New Employee Orientation Program. The intent of the program is to introduce you to the mission, culture, and values of the University.
University policies, resources and procedures links are also presented. During this orientation, you will also learn more about the numerous benefits available to you.
