On Your First Day
Verify your I-9
Your I-9 documents need to be verified in-person. At Tufts, you have two options for in-person verification:
A) Inspection of documents by a Tufts Support Services Representative: You will need to make an appointment. Click on the campus where you would like I-9 Documents verified (this does not need to be the campus you are working on). We cannot guarantee walk-in appointments will be accommodated at this time, to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

B) Inspection of documents by a witness of your choosing using “I-9 Everywhere”. This allows you to select an individual in your network to view your I-9 documents in person. You do not need to come to campus. This option is open to all employees, whether they are working on a Tufts campus or fully remote. After you have completed Section 1 of your I-9 in eServe.
Set Up Your Tufts Username and Password
Your Tufts Username and Tufts Password are the gateway to a wide range of technology services and resources. These credentials will be assigned to you by Tufts Technology Services on or before your start date.
Set Up Your Computer and Phone/Voicemail
Your manager coordinated with Tufts Technology Services to have a computer and phone (with voicemail) set up for you on your first day of work. If you do not have access to this or other technology needed for your job, talk to your manager.
