Package Delivery for Departments
Delivery Locations
Be aware that the university does not allow any second-party packages and will refuse all deliveries of such nature.
Medford/Somerville
UPS and Fedex deliver directly to individual buildings. In cases where a delivery service cannot find an address, the package is delivered to Mail Services who will then reroute the packages to the correct address.
Boston
Boston packages should addressed to the 37 Tyler St. Location.
- Delivery Address & Pick Up Location: Medical School 37 Tyler Street (located at the back of M&V, 617-636-6548)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–12:00 pm and 12:30 pm–4:00 pm
Grafton
Grafton packages should addressed to the 52 Willard St. Location.
- Delivery Address & Pick Up Location: 53 Willard Street (via Jumbo’s Path, 508-887-4856)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–12:00 pm and 12:30 pm–3:00 pm
Addressing Packages to Employees
All packages delivered to university employees should be addressed with the following information:
Employee Name
Department & Room Number
Building Street Address
City, MA ZIP CODE
Special Handling or Authorized Signature Required
If you order something that will require special handling or an authorized signature, please notify the mailroom with an email to mailpickup@tufts.edu. Be ready to provide the following information:
- a description of the item
- name of person who ordered the item
- vendor
- expected delivery date
- carrier (if known)
- where you want this package delivered, including building, room #, phone number
- special instructions
- list an alternate person who can sign and accept the package in your stead.
