Grafton Campus Parking Advisories
- Building 19 Site Parking Lot – Monday December 9, 2024
- The new parking lot at the site of the old Building 19 is expected to open on Monday December 9, 2024. This lot is for use by the V28 class. Students should no longer park around the research quad. The quad parking and the parking down by the Peabody Pavillion should be used by faculty, staff, and graduate students in Buildings 20 and 21, and the Peabody Pavillion. V28s may still park on Ridge Road because even with adding the new lot to the McGrath parking lot, there is not enough space for the whole class to park in those lots.
- Classroom Structure - Monday September 30, 2024 - ONGOING
- To allow for construction, a portion of the parking area between Varis Campus Center and Large Animal Hospital will be closed. Please review the project map that shows both the parking area that will be permanently removed and the lawn area that will be temporarily impacted. Please note the traffic changes for accessing the parking lot adjacent to the construction area. Do not park in visitor/client parking spaces.

- No Parking in Client/Visitor Spaces
- The parking team has received several reports that our community members are parking in spaces designated for visitors and clients. As a reminder, parking in visitor/client parking areas is prohibited. These spaces need to be available for clients to access our facilities and services. There will be increased parking enforcement activity to monitor the situation. Violators may be subject to ticket and/or towing at their expense.

Changes to Grafton Campus Parking Permits
The current annual Grafton Campus parking permit expires on August 31st. Please purchase your Fall 2024 – Spring 2025 permit prior to September 1st. Permits will be available for purchase beginning August 1st at tufts.mpspark.com. Beginning with the September 1st permits, users selecting the payroll deduction option to purchase permits will see their annual permit fee deducted from their paychecks in the first month following purchase. In the event an employee leaves the university, changes their primary campus, or no longer has a need for parking, the annual fee will not be prorated.
MFA Garage Changes
The Museum of Fine Arts reduced the number of parking spaces accessible to Tufts University in the MFA Garage by 10% as of May 2024. Due to this decrease in spaces and the high demand for parking, MFA Garage spaces will cost $115 per month and will be made available only to Tufts staff and faculty beginning July 2024. Passes will be purchased on an automatically renewed basis only.
Cancellation of a permit at any time will make it immediately available to other individuals who may be on the MFA Garage parking wait list.
