Plan an Event - Grafton
1. Reserve a Space on Campus
Find a location for your event directly through Microsoft Outlook.
2. Make a Facilities Service Request
Providing information about your event via the Facilities Services request form at least 2 weeks in advance will ensure that the space you reserved will be prepared for your event and attendees.
3. Request A/V Equipment & Support
Work with Tufts Technology Services to get the audio and video equipment you’ll need for both on-site and remote attendees. Complete the A/V and Video Conferencing Service request form at least 4 business days in advance of your event.
4. Order Food from Elms Cafe and Catering
If you’ll be feeding attendees at your event, your next step will be to contact Elms Cafe and Catering to choose a menu and arrange delivery.
5. Schedule a Security Detail
Will alcohol be served at your event? If so, you’ll need to complete the Security Detail Request form in order for Tufts University Police to schedule security for your event.
6. Order Signs and Banners
Explore the options available from Tufts Print Copy Services and then request a printing estimate online.
7. Stream, Record, or Photograph Your Event
If you want to create a live stream or recording of an event or have photos taken, submit your photography request or video recording/streaming request online at least 7 business days in advance of your event.
8. Provide Parking Information to Guests
All visitors to campus should check in at the University Police Station, 7 Jumbo's Path, Westboro Road (open M-F 9am-5pm) for a guest pass.
