Employee Discount at Tufts Dental School
The Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) patient care clinics are teaching facilities with dentists-in-training who work with experienced dentists in the Delta Dental provider network. The clinic is located at One Kneeland Street in Boston.
TUSDM Patient Care Clinics offers an employee discount to benefits eligible individuals who are employed by Tufts University. In order to qualify for discounts the individual will meet one of the following criteria: (1) An exempt, non-exempt, or job-share employee who is regularly scheduled to work at least 17.5 hours per week, and has been employed by the University for at least 90 days or (2) a faculty member with at least a halftime, two-semester appointment. If the individual is eligible, they will receive a generous 20% discount off the already low TUSDM rates prior to submission to an insurance carrier (if any).
This discount does not apply to spouses, domestic partners or dependents who are not Tufts University employees. The discount applies to any clinic at the dental school.
TUSDM Orthodontics Clinic offers a 20% discount off the cost of orthodontics services prior to submission to an insurance carrier for dependent children (up to age 26) of benefits eligible faculty and staff.
For details or questions visit the TUSDM Patient Care Clinics website or call 617-636-6828.
