Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF)
Audience: Faculty & Staff
The PSLF Program is intended to encourage individuals to enter and continue to work full-time in public service jobs. Under this program, borrowers may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance of their Direct Loans after they have made 120 qualifying payments on those loans while employed full time by certain public service employers.
Tufts University contracts with an external vendor, Experian Verify, to provide secure employment verification and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program services for current and former Tufts University employees. Access Experian Verify to receive your on-demand employment verification and completed PSLF Letter.
To generate your completed PSLF form on demand, log into Experian Verify. Navigate to "Letters", select "Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Documents" and click "Create Letter". The completed form will be generated and available for download immediately.
Alternatively, you may send letters from the studentaid.gov portal directly to verify.pslf@experian.com.
