Submit Your New Affiliate Requests by December 8
If your department plans to hire/enroll affiliates who will need access in early January, now is the time to get your sponsored account requests in. To ensure a smooth start to the new year, please submit all sponsored account requests no later than Sunday, December 8. Requests submitted after this date may experience delays due to the Winter Break.
Why the Deadline Matters
During the Winter Break period, sponsored accounts (also known as eReg accounts) will not be processed. Since many January affiliate hires need access on or immediately after January 1, submitting your sponsored account requests before the deadline will help ensure accounts are created on time.
As noted on the Access Tufts Affiliate Account page, if the system determines that a sponsored account meets your requirements:

Your request will route automatically to TechConnect,

You will receive a notification with your ticket number, and

Processing may take up to four business days, under normal operating schedules.
Because we will not be processing sponsored accounts during the Winter Break (December 24, 2025 – January 1, 2026), any accounts needed for onboarding right before or just after January 1 should be submitted well in advance.
