    What is Employee Self-Service?

    Employee Self-Service (eServe) is a portal in PeopleSoft HR, where all employees can review personal information such as paychecks, time off information, performance reviews, and more. Access levels in eServe are role based, with all employees having access to their Employee Self-Service portal, and managers and department admins gaining additional access to the Manager and Workforce Portals. 

    What can I do in Employee Self-Service?

    Employee Self-Service is your one-stop shop for your employee information:

    • View your paycheck & update tax forms 
    • Modify your Direct Deposit 
    • Review your time off
    • View your benefits summary, submit life events & complete benefit elections 
    • Create, edit, and view performance plans and reviews
    • Update your personal information
    • ...And much more!

    Maintaining your Personal Information in eServe

    Keeping your personal details up to date in eServe is critical to ensuring you are receiving the most current information from the University and your benefits carriers. From tax forms and benefits eligibility to retirement and beyond, your contact and other personal details help TSS and HR maintain an accurate employee database. 

    Each year we encourage all employees to review the following: 

    ✔️ Legal Name, Date of Birth, & SSN

    ✔️ Your Addresses

    ✔️ Your Paystubs

    ℹ️ Consent to Electronic W-2 Delivery

    If your social security number is incorrect or has been newly issued, please provide this updated information to TSS. If it is discovered that your SSN is missing, or mismatched with the Social Security Administration's records, you will be contacted by Tufts Support Services in an effort to correct your record. 

    New and Former Employees

    New hires will have access to eServe within 1-2 business days after completing the initial step of pre-provisioning, initiated through the "Establish your Online Identity" email. Please visit the New Hire Payroll Onboarding page for help and more information.

    Former Employees should retain access through April of the year following their separation to allow access to the form W-2.
