Workspace & Buildings
The Facilities Services department supports the Boston, Grafton and Medford/Somerville campuses with Operations and Maintenance – managing 5 million square feet of buildings and properties, Project Administration – programming, design and project management of new buildings and grounds, and Renovation – overseeing major renovations of facilities and infrastructure.
Building Access & Maintenance
Card Access
The Department of Public Safety is responsible for granting card access to buildings and rooms on the Tufts campuses. Authorized requestors (e.g., department supervisors and managers) can make requests for card access via the online request form.
Keys & Locks
The Department of Public Safety is responsible for handling all key requests. Authorized requestors (e.g., designated department supervisors and managers) can make requests for keys via the online request form. This form can also be used for lock maintenance and repair requests.
Lighting
The Facilities Services Department is responsible for repairs to lighting fixtures as well as light bulb replacement on the Tufts campuses. You can make a request for repairs via the online request form.
Climate Control
The Facilities Services Department is responsible for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on the Tufts campuses. You can make a request for adjustments and repairs via the online request form.
Moving Assistance
The Facilities Services Department provides assistance with moving office equipment and furniture on campus. You can make a request for moving assistance via the online request form.
General Maintenance Requests
The Facilities Services Department is responsible for completing maintenance across the Tufts campuses. You can submit maintenance requests using the online request form.

Please note that some Tufts buildings on the Medford campus are managed by Walnut Hill Properties. For maintenance requests in those properties, please contact Walnut Hill directly at 781-391-5300.

Recycling
The Facilities Services Department provides recycling and composting services on the Tufts campuses. You can request a new recycling bin or recycling pickup for a room, office, or building by submitting a request online.
